Samsung has recently announced that it will no longer be providing software update support for its Galaxy A50, Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+ models. The news came to light when Samsung released details surrounding the April 2023 security patch.
Galaxy A50, Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+ No Longer Listed on Samsung’s Webpage The Galaxy A50, Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+ have been removed from Samsung’s webpage related to the software update schedule of Galaxy devices. However, the Galaxy S10 5G will continue to receive software updates.
Android OS Updates The Galaxy A50 was launched with Android 9 and received two major Android OS updates: Android 10 and Android 11. The Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+ were also launched with Android 9 and received three major Android OS updates: Android 10, Android 11, and Android 12.
Galaxy S10 Lite to Receive Updates for One More Year The Galaxy S10 Lite, which was launched in early 2020 with Android 10 onboard, will continue to receive software updates for at least one more year. It has already received Android 11, Android 12, and Android 13, and recently received the One UI 5.1 update with new features.
