Actor Kangana Ranaut recently shared an old clip of filmmaker Karan Johar reacting to her ‘movie mafia’ comment and stating that he isn’t ‘interested in working with her’. The edited clip also included a segment of Kangana’s reaction. A few years ago, during her appearance on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan, Kangana had referred to him as the ‘flagbearer of nepotism’ and ‘movie mafia’.
In 2017, Karan spoke about Kangana at an event at the London School of Economics, questioning what Kangana meant by ‘movie mafia.’ He also said that he wasn’t interested in working with her. Kangana shared the clip on her Instagram Stories with a caption that read, “Chacha Chaudhary thanks for these frivolous outbursts when I establish myself as a filmmaker and producer…Will rub these in your face…”

Over the last few years, Kangana and Karan have made several remarks at each other. Recently, actor Priyanka Chopra talked about being pushed into a corner in the film industry and how she needed a break. Reacting to this, Kangana said on her Instagram Stories that “Truth remains Cruella has done a big favor on us by bullying and isolating us… PC became a Hollywood star, and I produced and directed my own film which is releasing this year…”
In a tweet thread, Kangana also said that Karan is an obnoxious, jealous, mean, and toxic person who should be held accountable for ruining the culture and environment of the film industry. She further added that his gang and mafia PR should be raided and held accountable for harassing outsiders.
Kangana also mentioned in another post that the media had written extensively about her fallout with Karan Johar because of her friendship with SRK and movie mafia Cruella. She stated that the movie mafia harassed her to the point where she had to leave India.
